3 Tipps um Deinen Schmuck sauber zu halten

STERLINGSILBER
Sterlingsilber-Schmuck kannst Du mit einem weichen Tuch aus 100% Baumwolle oder mit einem Flanelltuch reinigen. Denke daran, Silber ist ein sehr weiches Metall und kann Kratzer bekommen wenn Du nicht vorsichtig bist. Benutze von daher nie etwas anderes als ein sauberes Tuch aus 100% Baumwolle oder ein für Sterlingsilber spezielles Reinigungstuch. Für die filigranen Sterlingsilber-Ketten von JUVELAN, benutze einen sehr weichen Bürste, wie z.B. eine Zahnbürste für Babys oder eine Naturhaarbürste.

STERLINGSILBER GOLDPLATTIERT
Du kannst Dein Goldplattiertes Sterlingsilber reinigen, indem Du den Schmuck in warmem Seifenwasser wäschst. Verwende lauwarmes Wasser (nicht heißes, da es einige Steine zerbrechen kann) und ein paar Tropfen Spülmittel (nicht antibakteriell!). Verwende eine weiche Zahnbürste um an engen Stellen ranzukommen. Spüle und trockne den Schmuck sofort mit einem weichen Poliertuch, um Mineralrückstände vom Wasser zu vermeiden.

PERLEN
Perlen brauchen besondere Pflege und Aufmerksamkeit und sollten nur mit einem feuchten Tuch abgewischt werden. Sei vorsichtig mit Chemikalien in Haarspray, Kosmetika oder Parfüm: sie können, im Laufe der Zeit die Perlen schaden. Du solltest niemals Deine Perlen in einem Schmuckkästchen zusammen mit anderem Schmuck aufbewahren, da die Perlen zerkratzt und beschädigt werden können. Wenn Du Perlenschmuck von JUVELAN besitzt, bewahre ihn dann separat in den Schmuckschachteln die wir Euch geschenkt haben.

Things that make my heart warm

A great man once called and asked me to make a very special necklace for his wife as a gift for their anniversary. The result: this fairytale-like golden necklace with aquamarines. His wife got so happy and I fell in love with the design just as much as she did that I decided to put it in our JUVELAN collection for everyone to see. Every time I make it (I just finished an order of this) I think of the little story behind it and get really warm in my heart. 🙂 /Johan

Spring Collection 2015 – Available Now!

Every time I start designing a new collection I never know what’s going to happen. This time we actually had a model and shoot planned before I started making or designing the Spring collection when our team met Lana Gordon we fell in love with her on the spot and instantly knew we have to work with her.

Inspired by her positive vibes and contagious smile, I immediately started brainstorming and thinking what type of jewellery would be nice on her. It didn’t take long before the thought hit me of designing a small collection filled with colour, happiness, warmth and individuality inspired by the beauty of nature during springtime.

When I went through the process of picking the materials that inspire me to work with, I was intrigued with the thought of doing the entire collection with gemstones. Why gemstones you may ask?

The beauty of gemstones is that no two stones are the same, they are unique materials to work with and come in the most amazing shapes and colours. For example when I found the Pyrite stones, also known as “fool’s gold”, the only thought going through my head was: “Lana as a person absolutely rocks, so this is the perfect stone for her”. And let me tell you, she absolutely rocked that rock during the shoot!!

I also found the most amazing light blue Aquamarines and turquoise, Rainbow Jade, light green Amethyst and so many other stones that compliment each other in a very harmonious way and all reminded me of Spring. So the collection turned out to be a very delicate, playful and happy series of limited designs made with very special materials. I hope you will enjoy the new collection as much as I enjoyed making it, and the photos filled with happiness and love. Celebrate Diversity!

“Diversity is the one true thing we all have in common. Celebrate it every day.”

A little while ago, our jewellery designer Johan Vandamme went to the colourful city Barcelona for a little weekend trip and he got so inspired by all the beauty the city had to offer that when he came home, he immediately sat down to work on some new and fresh jewellery pieces. Also, he inspired our dearest team member and photographer Conny Wenk to visit Catalonia’s capital city and was able to give his newest creations to be photographed with Conny’s adorable daughter Juliana. She is the very first model to wear these brand-new jewellery pieces and what better way to have a little mini shoot than in the place wherefrom the inspiration for it actually got born?

With World Down Syndrome Day coming up this Saturday, March 21st we ask you to please welcome our newest jewellery “Celebrate Diversity”: A golden bracelet and a golden necklace filled with little, colourful Swarovski butterflies. Let the world know that you are willing to celebrate diversity too by wearing these pieces.
